The Funny Thing About Music

Before I get into this, let me say Happy New Year to everyone!

Tonight, I’m listening to some tunes while trying to get some things situated so I can kick off 2013 by making some money writing.  I was browsing my music library, and realized that there were albums I hadn’t heard in a very long time. I flipped through folder after folder, but stopped when I got to KISS. As a teenager, I was blown away by KISS. My older brother Jimbo had taken me to see them for my first concert experience. Needless to say, it made an impression. I bought every CD I could find. Some were pretty good, some dreadful, but I bought them all. On Halloween, I of course would be Gene Simmons. Seeing the names of the songs on those albums was like using the slow rewind on a VHS tape of my past. I remembered just about everywhere and everyone that had anything to do with those songs. Sixteen, in and out of “love”, and KISS explaining it all cranked up to 11 in my headphones. Good times.

What's your take on it?
